Whats behind Credit Union Rate and Fee Decisions
Your credit union exists to serve member-owners like you. That's why our rates and fees tend to be better than those at for-profit institutions.
We take many things into account when setting rate and fees.
First, the credit union must earn enough money to pay its employees, utility bills, data processing, and other expenses. Then, the credit union must build and maintain a financial cushion.
When pricing products and services, we also must gauge how decisions will influence the credit unions risk profile. Economic conditions heavily influence rates and fees.
Your Credit unions pricing decisions can be complicated. In the end, due to uncertain economic enviroment, Front Royal Federal Credit Union deemed it necessary to increase or implement an updated fee schedule effective February 1, 2011. Please look at the fee listing on our website.

Give your old Glasses a New Life with Recycle for Sight!
Front Royal Federal Credit Union continues to work with Front Royal Lions by collecting used prescription eyeglasses and prescription and non-prescription sunglasses. The collected glasses will be cleaned and prepared for distribution in developing countries where eye care is often unaffordable and inaccessible, with an eye exam costing as much as one month’s wages and a single eye doctor serving a community of hundreds of thousands of people.
To donate used glasses (including sunglasses and reading glasses), place them in the specially marked Lions Recycle For Sight collection boxes located at our two branches – 230 North Royal Avenue and 113 South Street.
The donated glasses will be shipped to a regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center where they will be cleaned, categorized by prescription and prepared for distribution by Lions and other groups.

If you are 17 or older and have not given blood within the last 55 days, you are eligible to donate. Refreshments will be served.
